If you don't mind the border around the edge of the screen, this is the perfect addition for any game collector. It's compatible with Gameboy through GBA, renders images and sound faithfully, and lets me save batteries by not using the old hand-held platforms. It is unobtrusive looking and transforms my worthless Gamecube (worthless now that the Wii is out) into one of my most valued possessions. The idea of this peripheral is that it plugs into the bottom of your Gamecube and allows you to play Gameboy Advance games on your TV, using the gamecube controller. This is great for people who love the GBA games but don't like playing them on a handheld console. You can easily lay down and be comfortable while playing your GBA games instead of squinting at the small Gameboy screen. Since this is on your TV, you can adjust the TV's picture quality to suit your desire. The Gameboy Player also has an eject switch on it that will pop out the GBA game when you're done playing it. Unnecessary, but convenient. There's also several new options you can have while playing the games such as the background image around the screen and the size of the screen. If you play GBA games a lot, this is probably worth your money. -- Incredibly useful device that any Gameboy Advance owner would love.
